Decals, Decals, Decals…..or are they stickers?
In my opinion they are one in the same. We create custom decals for companies all over the US. Decals and stickers have a variety of uses including; safety warnings, directional purposes, branding, etc.
What should you know about decals/stickers:
1. What will you use them for? – Depending on your use you may want them laminated to protect them from the elements or sun. Lamination costs more but leads to a decal or sticker that will last for an extended period of time. Many of the decals we create are used in industrial settings where grease and dirt are common. Lamination allows them to be wiped clean. Others are used on containers that are out doors. The lamination provides protection from UV rays.
2. How should they be shaped? – Odd question but in some settings you may want a custom contour cut, did you want your roundish logo contour cut or put in a rectangle? The contour cut decal will look much more professional and may be appropriate.
3. What print options are there? – Although decals may seem like a small detail they usually aren’t. They are an extension of your brand and should reflect your brand. Will your supplier match your corporate colors properly? Do you need metallic colors in your decals? Will the decal last so that when they need your information it will be legible?
