Tips on picking out your office directory signage
Office directories are one of those dreaded purchases, nobody wants to invest the time and money finding the right fit.
Here are a few tips I share with my customers:
1. Buy a quality piece that will last for years. Although you may not want the directory to scream quality or money, you definitely don’t want it to scream “cheap”. As a landlord or owner not only do your tenants judge this sign, but so do visitors. You don’t want guests judging you or your tenants in a negative fashion.
2. Office directories should be flexible. Although you only have 4 tenants now and don’t see that changing, consider buying the directory with 5 or six slots in case a large tenant leaves and you split the space. For a very small investment now you will not have to replace your directory signage later.
3. Visuals – make sure you can customize your directory to go along with your interior. Today you may have tan walls, but what about in 5 years? A nice brushed aluminum or black will go with any color. Additionally, if the directory has header panels that you can customize you can change with the times and always look modern
I could go on and on, if you are interested in office directories or way finding signage please give me a call with any questions!
