Last week we talked about creating a monument sign for South Elgin High School.
There is almost an infinite number of ways to finish the sign faces. Here are a couple of considerations:
- Dimensional letters and dimensional logos
- Sand blasted sign faces
- Digitally printed sign faces
To keep the project in budget we decided to digitally print the faces of the monument sign. They will be laminated to protect them from the UV rays and other weather factors. Digital print allows for photo quality graphics at an economical price.
Two digital prints (that are laminated) will be applied to the sign faces to cover the entire face. Below is a rendering of what the sign will look like.
